The client was searching for a family home within a short walk of the beach lifestyle they knew and loved, in a family area. They had been searching for a home for over 2 years, and within the previous 12 months had employed another buyers agency, with no success. They were skeptical about employing another buyers agent. However, they engaged us as we had a proven track record in the types of properties and areas they preferred.
We commenced a full area search and shortlisted 32 suitable properties, 10 of which were either pre-market or off market. We found a property within a short walk of Clovelly beach in a whisper quiet street, flooded with light and a huge wrap around courtyard.
It appealed to our client immediately, so while we were still looking at other options within the market, we took a wait and see approach and eventually purchased at auction for a price our client was delighted with.
