Renovation Details

Our clients were looking to build a portfolio of prime location properties that would provide steady cashflow and strong capital growth.

They wanted to utilise the ‘adding value’ strategy, where they could add instant equity and also improve the cashflow, to help them leverage into their next property.

We made a number of recommendations, based on our experience of seeing where the most buyer demand is, as well as a shortage of suitable quality properties.

Our clients decided to focus on a large 2 bedroom unit, located within walking distance to Bondi Beach and the desirable café culture hub, easy access to city transport and in a character building.

We shortlisted 19 suitable properties, and went through inspecting them all for our clients. From that list, we took them to the most suitable selection that most closely fitted their brief.

The most suitable property was decided on, due to its premium location, good natural light, privacy, extra size, and renovation potential.

We ensured all the due diligence was completed in a timely manner, and we negotiated the purchase, away from the other competing buyers.

Our clients were able to gain access in the following days, and had already planned out the details of their renovation to commence straight after settlement.

Our clients completed the work in a timely manner, and then placed a tenant into the property.

Renovation cost – $42,000

Market value after renovation – $1,000,000 to $1,050,000 approx.
