Renovation Details

Our client needed to buy a home close to their CBD work, while still being a quiet and relaxing location.

She wanted a property with parking, 2 bathrooms and a nice outlook.

A two level converted warehouse apartment was secured from other interested buyers, days after hitting the market.

It was in good, yet slightly tired condition. We recommended a few changes/updates to add value. We would usually recommend a wall be removed to create an open plan spacious layout. However this property needed a small wall installed to break up the oversized area, to create a designated dining area, separate lounge and a larger kitchen.

The effect was instant, making the area actually feel bigger as well as more functional.

Our client ended up selling soon after, realising a very healthy gain.

Works included:

  • Extending Kitchen
  • Install small wall in living area
  • New timber floors
  • Painting

Purchase price – $800,000

Renovation cost – $45,000 approx

Sale price after renovation – $1,050,000
